Longtime lurker (mostly) since the Chip Talk days, although I've had transactions with a few of you here over the years. Although I don't post much, I follow this site closely - especially the classifieds. I've been meaning to get this sales post together for a while, but I'm having trouble letting go. I think it's time to cut a few things loose.
For this sale shipping within the US only, and I'm not willing to split any individual lot. PayPay friends and family or add 3%. Claim the lot however you want - dibs, mine, I'll take it, etc.; but please immediately follow with a PM to avoid dibs drama. I believe in getting shipments out ASAP, however I am working a lot of overtime due to covid vaccinations. So depending on when the sale is completed I may need and extra day or two to get to the post office. Thanks for looking.
Lot 1: 37 Foxwoods $1 in good used condition. Hotel/dark inlay version. They have some wear and could use a cleaning, but all will stand on edge. $74 shipped.
Lot 2: 75 CPS $100 cash chips. These came as part of a tournament set I bought. Never used by me and no obvious signs of wear but I can't say for sure if or how much they've been played. CPS chips are generally very durable and were made with beveled edges. I would call them excellent condition but you judge. $30 shipped. SOLD
Lot 3: 100 Ameristar East Chicago 25¢/quarters/fracs. Good used condition. Nicks/Flea bites but all will stand on edge. I love these chips and want to keep them but I'm realizing I have no use for them. At one time I thought about making a mixed giant inlay set with some Vineyards, Ace's, Garden City, etc., but I already have a mixed cash set and I'm going to try assembling a Caesars Palace Vegas set instead. I probably overpaid for these so I'm willing to take a slight loss, $240 shipped. Alternatively I would possibly be a buyer if someone was looking to offload the $1's and/or $5's from this casino.
Lot 4: 200 Treasure Casino $1 in good used condition. Between the 2 racks about half the chips are in very good/excellent condition and the others show wear/flea bites, but all will easily stand on edge. These are the dollars of my mixed set I've been curating for 10+ years. I always wanted to replace these with Foxwoods $1, and now that I have a few of those I'm having trouble letting these go. Treasures rarely come up for sale, and every listing I could find between here and eBay was for a full set. I know once they're gone I'll likely never find them again. Therefore I'm not looking to sell at this time. I'm considering trades for Foxwoods $1's (MGM lion version) or Caesars Palace Las Vegas large inlay $1's, $2's, or $5's (or $10's
). I'd also be a buyer outright if anyone is looking to sell those. If I am able to purchase another rack of Foxwoods to replace these, I will likely let them hit the market.
I'm also interested in purchasing CPS tournament chips T25 - T25,000 to add on and complete some racks.
