Tourney Tournament Director:How to auto calculate top scores (1 Viewer)

Anyone know what formula I need to use for the following?

We play 10 tourneys during our league season. I'd like for TD to auto-calculate top 8 scores.

I'm in the stats profiles screen right now and there's a spot for "create overall scores using formula". I think this is it, and I put in "sum (top (8, scores))" which I found on the TD forums.

But from a 10 game score of 37 it should give me around 34 if we remove worst 2 games, result is actually 10.xx

Way off.

Any ideas? :

Oh yeah, it will not let me edit the default profile to add any formula to the overall score so i had to create a 2nd profile for it. View media item 5037

Found the problem. I'll leave this here in case anyone needs it in the future:

My formula above for calculating the top 8 out of 10 scores for "overall score" was good. But on the stats screen, the "tournament scores" formula didn't match the one on page 1 I use for my tourneys. I guess it doesn't auto populate that for you.

So anyone else wanting to do this:
Go on stats screen.
Create a new profile.
Copy paste your tourney formula into tournament scores.
Copy paste the formula above for top 8 games into overall score. Done.
(Or replace 8 with whatever amount of games you want used to calculate final score)

All this time I've been calcuting this by hand after each season, lol.
