My order of Tina Dunes of Arrakis chips that I got the other day have a mistake on the labels for the $5s ("The Spice Must Flow" text is missing).

Justin has kindly offered to send out corrected labels but I have never dealt with relabeling anything before and I'm hesitant to attempt it. I just now tried to remove the label from one chip and I had to use something sharp to get under it, this caused a small scratch on the chip at the edge of the label. Also, when I peel the label off there is still a bit of residue left that I have to scrape off. I can't imagine doing that 650 times (325 chips) and then trying to re-apply 650 new labels and getting them all centered perfectly. Seems like it would be a major PITA.

Justin has also offered to just replace all the chips and that is probably the route I will take at this point even though it will be another 60-90 days before I can put these bad boys into play. :(

Have any of you relabeled Tina hybrids? Is it easier than I'm making it out to be?

I have no idea how hard that would be, but have you considered using the chips as-is until you get replacements? That seems like the way to go here.

Justin wants me to send the misprint chips back so unfortunately I don't think that is an option.

I've been able to get the label off with a finger nail or a fine pair of tweezers. That said, it's more work than it's worth. Much more worth it to pay the $80 label fee and get what you want.

I won't have to pay anything (but maybe return shipping) since this was Tina's mistake.

I spoke with Justin and he is going to let me use the misprinted chips until the replacements arrive, YAY! Now I can debut the whole new setup at my next game in just a week and a half! :D

Sounds like a good use for plastic razor blades
