But someone seriously has to say it... post #4.... bro did you seriously oil an entire set of ABS plastic chips? Oiling is for clay chips, not plastic... clay has pores as you would for the oil to infiltrate the surface of the chip. Plastic, is formed as a liquid and fills like an expoy of sorts. There is basically no where for the oil to go! If it made them look better and probably did because it gives them a wet look. But ALL of that oil.will be coming back off, rather on a rag, your table top, in your racks or on your hands.
Not a big deal I guess but Brie and I had a good laugh this morning.
It's ok, we ALL know in time eventually the plastic will probably be leaving, once the boys get used to clay, it is hard to go back to plastics. Brie and I still own 3 sets, but none of them ever hit the felt.
