Hey guys, was hoping for a bit of advice or what to look for here. Need a table for my new basement - the ones I really like (casino quality) have been about $2500-4k+. This is near my home - I’m not sure how it was ever in Bally’s Vegas tho.. no betting line etc. is this a good deal on a table or where would you look? Thanks

Meh - it's ok, , but it seems a bit underwhelming (IMO).

The good points of the table you are looking at:
  • solid (non-folding ) legs
  • rail fabric looks in good shape
The questionable points:
  • Wooden race track is not the greatest for sliding chips onto the felt. Some prefer a full felt surface.
  • Cup holders in race track isn't my favorite location. Better options are slide out trays, none at all (drink carts), or in the padded rail.
  • 9 cup holders plus dealer cutout means effectively a 10 player table. This size looks more suitable for 8 max (look how close together the cup holders are - you would have to have pretty narrow chairs to fit this arrangement)
  • Felt looks worn
  • Dealer cutout is good if you have a dedicated dealer. Not so much if rotating self-dealing (no padding for person in cutout location).
Tables are a subjective thing (as are so many things), so if you really like it, and need a table now, then go for it. But if you don't have a clue about what makes a good table, then I suggest that you hold off for a few weeks, and research this forum for ideas. Used tables come and go on Marketplace, Craigslist, etc., so don't let FOMO be your guide.

Also go to @T_Chan's website (http://chanmanpokertables.com/) to get some ideas. (note that his prices are in $CDN, so much cheaper in $USD).

It's right by my house too! I think it is overpriced but a decent table. Dealer cutout is bad unless you use a dedicated dealer in my opinion. With chairs I think I like this table at around $400.
I'm in south lyon, where u at chips?
