Learnt about a game in a local(ish) pub today.

3k starting stacks.

Blinds start at 100/200 (10 minute levels)

Fixed prize payouts of £200 first, £75 second. So only two places are paid, total of £275

Maximum entrants limited to 60 - which as far as I can tell equals £600.

15bb starting stack? So you play one hand preflop and hope to double up otherwise you go home.

And with only two places paid out of SIXTY and it not being even half of the prize pool, that game can die in a grease fire.

Were there at least eazy addons - Like a beer gets you 3000 more chips, a dinner nets you an extra 10,000, etc? There was a game like that around here for a while, but once you got what you were going to buy anyway, you were in the tournament with a decent stack. It was still a bad pub game, so we only hit it up a couple of times, but I think it was developed to sell food/drinks and give the customers something to do other than trivia/karaoke on non-sports nights.
