I saw something for sale below and felt SAD LOL. I wanted to create a thread where people saw things for sale they really wanted or things they used to like but were ruined or the seller/owner just killed the value of an item but doing something to it. People can post Poker and Non Poker Items.

I was looking for 3 more CDI '98 500 Chips and upon searching I saw this and just have to ask WHY? There is murdering chips, but this is Genocide.

I feel this way every time I look at my Pokemon cards from my childhood. I have all the rare cards from the base set that are highly valuable today. The problem? Protecting the cards was not even passing thought when I was a kid. I also played the game, so I would do the most bend-inducing shuffle as if I were playing Uno. Card sleeves? Nope, I was just out there raw-dogging it. Silver lining: They are worthless, so I will never be tempted to sell off a piece of my childhood.

At least they could have drilled all of the holes in the non-spotted base material, making it easier to back-fill and color-match for folks tying to recoup the chips for actual poker usage. Frickin' heathens.

I can relate to your frustration! I was searching for three more CDI '98 500 Chips and stumbled upon a listing where the chips had been completely ruined by unnecessary modifications. It's heartbreaking to see such classic items lose their value and charm due to mishandling.
