In the beekeeping handbook it says that if you live in an area with bears it is matter of when not if the bears with F&ck with your hives.

I live an area where bears occasionally visit.

I’ve invested in ridiculous Kevlar tripwires that set off shot gun shell primers in the event large animals approach my hives. I legit worry about bears more than is appropriate.

I’ve umpired a banana ball scrimmage. Such different (and fun) rules. No walks, no stepping out of the box. If you bunt, you’re ejected… etc

Congrats. Hopefully things start opening up again soon. Last I saw the freeze was through mid July, but as a casualty of that myself, I’m not sure if there’s any update on that.
