RiveredAgain got booted from PCDC. He got busted using 3 accounts. Fucked up thing is he was asking himself questions and then answering them like this:

Fake Acct: I have a question for RiveredAgain. Was any money exchanged. It appears people are upset because you didnt follow through with the closing bid with what looked like a nice rack of Flamingos. If this is the case can you tell everyone why you didnt follow through?

RiveredAgain: There was no money involved, lost or stolen. The guy who won said some negative things yadda yadda yadda I was intentionally sabotaged yadda yadda insinuated I wasn't in possession of the chips yadda yadda I feel not following through was justified.

Fake Acct: Sounds reasonable. Thanks for clarifying.

You didnt miss out on much. He posted pics in the sunlight and those are some used ass chips. His daddy got hosed buying them 6 years ago for $200 (or so he said).

Yeah he said pristine/mint in the original ad. I knew they definitely weren't that but eh, my set is pretty beat up anyways.

Why does a 12 ounce bag of potato chips cost more than a 32 ounce bag of frozen French fries? That doesn’t make much sense to me.

Nitrogen filled bag to prevent the chis from going stale. Fries are frozen thus no need for the extra preservative. Add to that the lower humidity needed to keep crisps crisp, and you are starting to get into an expensive endeavor.

Plus, are you really on PCF thinking chips are too expensive?

Blocking members works backwards (imo).

Why does anyone want to block folks from classifieds? I always anticipated that it kept people from posting on non classified threads (which it doesn’t).

Do you even remember why you chose to block me? I've been tough on you but thats only been after I discovered you blocked me. Id love to know if you remember exactly why you chose to block me.

I dunno man. Fries have to be flash frozen and then shipped and stored frozen - those are real costs too. I don't see how a handful of nitrogen should make the product cost more than twice as much.

But for reals, not sure why it’s so deep. It’s a poker chip website, if someone’s posting something I don’t care to see or want to deal with in my thread, I just block it out.

Didn’t realize how it worked, everyone’s on the list. Just off the top of my head tonysquander was confused, Kifer was confused, you were confused, quite a few others. Some people I like and even text with. When they reached out to be like wtf I fixed it and took it off.

Others like Ekricket and Scott I was more intentional about and simply prefer to never have to engage with them.

(Edit - oh lord I hadn’t looked at hidden messages before posting and finally clicked the button. My lawd, the amount of adults upset when not every person likes them [or more likely is simply honest about it]. Idk how some folks made it through childhood. Glad to see y’all still post every single time my name pops up, it’s good to have such consistent fans!)

Again, it ain’t that deep. I don’t want to see their stuff so I used a feature I thought would do that. Wild that I would care enough to not sell em something.
 
I guess if you treat it like facebook, I get that perspective.

That said, I ended up ignoring 95% of my list on facebook until my feed was completely quiet. Then I realized I just didn't like facebook and deactivated my profile.
