I just wonder if their music sounds like so much shit that the airline was like "no, we don't want people thinking that they might be on board out flights"

If Taylor Swift had done the same thing, every flight to / from the cities listed on that poster would have sold out within 16 minutes.
 
Definitely a dick move from a big corpo, especially to go after the name.

But TBH, the poster is kinda problematic. Lazy student's "first idea" at 2 am after a couple pints. I can not imagine that nobody in the band entourage has not thought it could be problematic to simply appropriate the company image, use their font, to make a crude mockup on one of their plane without permission. Really? Legally more than borderline, and basically so "easy" they kind of deserve a slap on the wrist.

I agree. First half is "wow, these idiots used the exact branding", then I kept reading to other situations like easyCurry aaaaand thats a stretch lol
 
Meanwhile on the Voyage of the Damned…

The “guest relations” department arranged a complimentary dinner for us as an apology at one of their “exclusive” restaurants along with complimentary “elite” drinks, whatever that means.

Anyway they fucked that up as well because the restaurant didn’t know it was complimentary (just as well we checked before ordering). Anyway no dinner and yet another visit to “guest relations” to complain. Next thing the guest relations manager and restaurant manager are arguing with each other about the wording of their emails between the two departments.

Thankfully today is the last day and we can go home tomorrow.

In poker related news they held a poker tournament today. 1 table. Duration 1 hour. Shambles :ROFL: :ROFLMAO:

They’re having a slot machine tournament at 10:30pm tonight (no idea how that works). The prize is a voucher to spend on their slot machines. We get kicked off the ship tomorrow morning at 7:30am.

It’s an event that is highly dependent on skill and strategy. The concentration you will need is so intense that you better not drink, and if you have migraine medicine you should take it beforehand, because the complexity of hand movements and mind games will leave you brain dead for hours afterwards. Stretches are important before and after, and if you deplete electrolytes fast you may want supplements after.
There are three main strategy’s, but they are too complex to discuss here. If you are a noob you should probably just press the spin button as fast as you can as many times as you can for three minutes.
Everybody will laugh at your clumsiness and clueless strategy, and there are endless rebuys, so you can practice your different strategies.

Good luck, it will probably be the highlight of your cruise!!

You can have drinks at the restaurant bar upstairs but not in the restaurant downstairs.

So we would effectively have to take a mouthful of food. Run upstairs to the bar. Take a drink. Run back downstairs to the restaurant to have another bite. Then repeat.

They then tell us that complimentary drinks are available between 5pm and 7pm.

They told us this at 6:50pm :ROFL: :ROFLMAO:

Plenty of time to down two shots and two mixed drinks each.

I would've proceeded to do that and spew vomit all over the restaurant and guest services managers.
 
Yeah, Celebrity catering/food services can be a bit of a shit show. 11 years ago I bought an Alaskan cruise package for my parents for their 50th anniversary, and my family went along. My younger son's birthday (he was turning 9) was just a few days later, so we pre-booked a birthday cake to be served after dinner that evening, reminders all around after boarding. Evening arrives, no cake, disappointed kid. Doesn't exactly want to make me book on them again, and I never have.

Here’s what’s hopefully the last one.

Went to see Ephesus and the Temple of Artemis (one of the 7 wonders of the world) except we didn’t go to see the temple.

We did stop a 6 souvenir shops. And I have to say the Americans were blowing their money on all sorts of crazy shite :ROFL: :ROFLMAO:

At one of the shops we could see our ship so we fucked off and left the tour. The guide is probably still looking for us. He was a fucking idiot anyway. Told us about where he stayed, his car, his big house, where he went for vacation, how many tours he did this week, but hardly any information about the site of Ephesus. We learned more reading the signs.

Anyway unless we hit an iceberg in the Mediterranean tomorrow morning that should be us finished…

Cruise ships almost never sink in the Mediterranean, but when they do it’s not icebergs but chunks of Italy that are usually the culprits.
 
Things that are bullshit… every time I log into PCF half the screen is some type of ad like this or panties so whoever may be walking by and looking over my shoulder is wondering wtf I’m looking at. Hard sell to sell the supporting member package to eliminate ads????
