Watching the Lions and finally getting all caught up on this thread... Some random (and likely outdated) thoughts:
For those that bitch about these NAGBs and driving up prices... Almost any chipper can afford Paulsons. They won't be mint, they won't be the prettiest (which is subjective anyway) or most unique colors/spots/inlays, but Paulsons cash chips can still be had at modest prices. If you want to do tournament Paulsons, they'll be a little more expensive, but you can still relabel cheaper cash chips.
Bottom line, no one has to own shitty chips.
