Soot / fire damage is basically pure carbon. Almost nothing dissolves it (unless you can find some carbon disulfide). Physical abrasion is about the only way I can think of that might have some hope. Good luck!

Guys FIL passed away and the MIL "threw out 5-6 boxes the other week before I found these extra ones"...

Now what to do with these...the green is kind of blueish, maybe convert to $1? Also, only 99 $5 and 199 $25

lol he has just been working on a set of these for years with singles and small lots at a time. Then now that he’s close to finished out of nowhere full racks show up.

So I think he likes to be kicked in the balls.

This was a first, I guess the seller really liked ice cream? This was the entirety of the 'padding' and the chips were in sandwich bags, but the seller did stack them at least. Definitely better than the other eBay purchase I recently got that was almost a full rack dumped into a 1gal Ziploc bag, set in a decent sized box, could hear and feel those ones shifting as soon as picked the box up..
