My wife went: "Since when did you learn how to read" when these arrived...I contemplated too long on these. Great pick up
So a little update... I decided that since the chips were not really going to be playable or salable with the paint/nail polish on them, I would take what some might consider an agressive approach and grind the paint/nail polish off with a dremel tool with a sand paper wheel. Below are the results. I am pretty happy with the outcome. The yellows you will see one finished rack and one original rack. The others you will see before and afters. The latest FBMP shipment. I bought a tub of stuff from a guy whose mother was a poker dealer. There was only one picture and I saw some cards, some wooden racks and some unidentifiable chips. so I took a shot for $40. Turns out there were a number of PAN card sets. Someone will have to explain the game to me or I will have to read the book included the stuff. There was about two racks of odd plastic chips, two racks of yellow cards and dice mold clay chips. And 3 plus barrels each of pink, orange and lavender THC starbursts. But the Paulsons all have an odd mark on the edges like a line of clear sparkly nail polish. I ran all the clay chips through the ultrasonic cleaner and teh Paulsons came up reasonably well. The cards and dice molds however seem to have "dissolved" a little. The water turned dirty yellow and the chips feel chalky. All of those also have what appears to be marks of green and red paint that may have one been formal edge markings. I plan to give the Paulsons a wipe with an oiled rag and see what I can do to remove the marks on the edges.
