That’s a very cool plaque!

These arrived, such a nice blue and took me 5 mins to get through the 16 layers of bubble wrap - thanks @Rieguy

Also, my boss was surprised more poker chips showed up. “I thought you had a custom set and a grail set - you’re not starting another are you… how many poker chips do you need” awkward silence…

Thanks FRIENDS.

You plan on putting those into play?
Yeah I’ll play with them if possible. Chances are they wouldn’t be very good for an actual tournament or cash game.

I could barely stack them up besides the bigger plaques. I’ll put these into play during the family games and what not.

Came out gorgeous. I deleted the original thread, was a little too personal, but this is a tribute to my Uncle who died of cancer 5 years ago; he used to close his architecture firm early on Fridays, order some good food and wine and invite the families in to the Saphire Lounge.

Chips are the favorite colors of his amazing kids and wife, they are not conventional but no one will care. Going to be tough waiting for the wedding in November; if their family is at the beach this summer I may find time to make the trip and gift it then.

Blue and green of 5c/25c are darker than I expected but not in a bad way, kind of like the look of the more muted blue colors. Big thanks to @mattross1313 For designing and @inapinch for helping.

Wow, everything fell right into place. My cousin's wedding is not for months but the family was headed down to the shore for a week and my grandmother died. I had to make the trip to Jersey anyways and everything lined up. My grandmother always timed things perfectly!

Gave it to my cousin and the family was blown away, got home game pictures 2 nights in a row. I've got pictures of 3 generations of family playing with the chips and having fun, and it was even better than expected. Very, very happy with these.

Haven’t a clue how I missed this last year, but great work! Getting em into play with family always makes this hobby that much more meaningful and fun.

Photo dump of a very cool local collection. Talked to the older gentleman for almost an hour about his chips and their history. Trucker who has traveled the country for years and years and collected these from all over. He was very happy to hear that they would be in a space that really appreciated them. Cannot say enough good things about this guy, absolute passionate gentleman.

The last handful of pictures are what he had categorized by location or complete sets, with some pictures being duplicates with the opposite side showing. A lot of these chips have 2 sides as there’s a lot of special editions. Not sure what the plan is yet as I’m not much of a singles collector, but these needed or still need a good home.

Received a nice package from Vault Raiders today!

I’m thrilled with IPS chips! They are absolute bricks and I’m super pumped to add a tourney set to my collection!

I also want to thank @JayBob for being super cool to break me off these relabels that were made by @Gear for @Gorbash . He afforded me extra time to pay. I tried to bid for em in the recent auction, but who schedules the end time right over the Stanley Cup finals game???!!! Sheeesh! ;)

Anyways, it’s nice to add some lead to my set. At least I don’t know how leaded they are, but they are definitely heavier than my NYNY $1 relabels. Now I have options….

I’ll post updated pr0n in my sets thread with the Empress siblings. Already pre-murdered, labeled to fit right into my set! Total score!

Are those white 500s Eddie's? If so, and forgive the relabel noob question, did Gear just replace one shaped inlay with a shaped label of his? The whole set looks amazing.
