Hmm purdy chip

Checked the chip guide and it seems @ovo is correct. A fake! I don't see any $1000s listed and all of the CIC chios from Sahara Tahoe have an orb around the mountain. I think it may be even cooler that it is a fake and they went that far put of their way to make it look like the real thing! Pretty damn cool!

Awesome chip!

This along with chips from Silver Bird and other casinos were reproduced in the 90s when Borland bought the molds which included all the dies from Bud Jones. The easiest way to tell the difference between the real and fake chips is to look at the mold itself. The fake ones will have the more "flush" look and the real ones will be "incused" so you can physically feel the mold around the chip. So, you'd be able to feel the dies and suits on this chip.

Here is a side by side example (pics from ChipGuide):

Brexit can't tear us apart! Mail from the UK made it safe and sound.
Customs taking a ridiculous €8 fee for this small package couldn't dampen my spirits when I saw some beautiful Indian blues, star wars DB and some surprise cut cards thrown in there by @BillyBluff for good measure. Thanks a lot mate, good chipping karma coming your way. :)

Wait. What? I am glad they made it, but they charged you €8 when I declared the goods at £10 and as a gift? Thieving bas*ards
