This lovely piece of early Vegas strip history arrived today. (Well, technically yesterday, but there is enough office staff that are taking annual leave that it was easier for me reschedule for an in-person pickup to go with a trip to the P.O. I had to make anyway).

I managed to pick up the $5 from the same issue early last year while spending too much time trolling eBay while stuck at home during the early stages of the pandemic. I didn't expect I'd be able to complete the pair anytime soon.


Kind of fun thinking that Bugsy Siegel himself could have been in the building at the same time this chip was in play!

More soldiers for the Rounders set..thanks @megarises . This gets my set to 1100

And some neat Bounties..

Also got some AS T1K, that may hit the market tomorrow morning. Keep an eye out. Thanks to @fishsaybloop

The main attraction for me are these mint Empress $5 sec Chips that take my set to an amazing breakdown. I LOVE these chips. Special thanks to @ski_ex5 for the hook up..

plus a whole array of samples and such and in some cases, in sorry, I forgot how I got them! My memory is getting bad...but for sure I can recall @Steamtrain for the cutthroat samples, @thyechal for the dunes, @churlbut18 for the Mapes, @JMC9389 for the fabulous Canoe sample. Thanks Joe! There are others, I'm sorry. Thanks to @ImCrossland for the AS T5s, lord knows what I'll do with them now. Hahahahaha!!! Make sample sets I guess...

Last unveiling of the day is for a set that I first saw back in may in @Hornet Drain My Pp Account want ad. @studioapc posted his Jack Detroit cash set and I couldn’t stop thinking about it. June rolls around and I figure it’s gotta be sold but I’ll message him and see. What do you know it’s still available. So thank you to @Hornet for your ad that led @studioapc to post this set and @horseshoez for helping me acquire it.

Normally keep these things in my notes, but there was a lot on my plate at the time. Hopefully that chipper is reading this and can send me a PM reminding me those are his, so I can inform Nav to send them your way.
