Some B&G chips arrived today. Thanks @horseshoez like always you’re doing a exceptional job reshipping for us here.
Okay, so I’ve compared the B&G to the mirage springs and this is my unbiased opinion :
B&G slippery scale from 1-5 : 1 (5 being very slippery)
Bud jones slippery scale from 1-5 : 3 (5 being very slippery)
The B&G’s are mint and I think they need to be broken in to experience the same chips I’ve used for a decade in Holland casino at the table games. They appear more soft in a casino environment then when you get them mint here. Although they are plastics, they still need to be broken in to get soft and buttery.
The mirage springs on the other hand are well broken in, and sound amazing. Shuffling is way easier with the B&G than the mirage for some reason, and the mirage are more slippery. The B&G’s are very very stable and almost feel chalky in a sense, they are not slippery AT ALL.
Looks wise, mirage springs of course is a gorgeous chip but these golden palace aren’t bad either !
Great chips both, but if I’m choosing one which is better to put in play, I’m sorry but hands down B&G winner.
I’m pretty sure the BG’s need to be broken in to be even better than they are now.
Ps: for those who wondering about B&G vs abbiati. I’m sorry abbiati, you are still amazing but B&G is really the best plastic chip on the planet. They almost feel like there’s clay in there. Yup, B&G for the win!
