The Official Mail Showcase Thread (poker related) (106 Viewers)

Loved Fringe as well!

I loved the first season, then I quit watching it. My son and wife loved it.

Started a thread, but these came in the mail today.

Got these in the mail today. While I like the looks of them they wabble in stacks. They are warped enough to bother me. Not sure what I should do with them. Was thinking about contacting the seller to bring it up or am I being to critical over old chips? Anyone ever flatten TRKs? Not sure what to do with them.

Original plan was to use them for fracs.

TRKs can be flattened.. this has been done with success by @RainmanTrail and I believe some others

Ya, you can flatten them pretty easily. Just put a few incandescent light bulbs inside an oven to get it to about 130° F +/- 5°. Then clamp them and bake them for 30 minutes and leave them clamped after you pull them out until they cool off to room temp. Be sure to monitor the temp though. You don't want it hotter than that.

If they are super warped though like a Pringles chip, you'll want to soften them a little before clamping so they don't crack. I just soak those in warm water (~100°) for about 5-10 minutes first. But don't get the water too hot or they will get squished.

Edit: this is only for TRKs, which are harder than Paulsons. If you're doing Paulsons, you can do it with 115 to 120 temps for about 20-25 minutes.

Horseshoe ones. So pumped about these! Shoutout to @DoubleEagle for the baller wrap job, too. Wish I'd have taken some before shots, but I was excited.

Picked these up to go with my GC fives. All that's left is a quarter and we'll be able to play these babies.

Also, thanks to @Quicksilver-75 for the button! It turned out great.
