I ordered these last year at the same time as my limit set - a half barrel of $500's. Absolutely not required for my game, ever! but MOAR, right?
I still need to get on and sort the full family photoshoot - will get that booked in once the final few additions arrive this year.

Well, in stark contrast to the previous post - the latest additions have arrived and are at the complete opposite end of the denomination pool.

Thanks to @ekricket for the stamping assist, and topping up the barrels. These new nickels will hit the felt in just a few weeks time (after I give them some flattening treatment and light oiling). Super happy how they sit with the rest of the Plaza line up.

The nickels had a fair bit of wobble to the barrels, which I've been addressing this week. It's been heatwave this past few days here in the UK, so instead of using the oven for flattening the chips - I used my garden shed (as it was hot as balls in there!). I clamped up the chips as normal, then let them sit in the shed for a good few hours, bringing them into the house in the evening to cool off overnight. It worked an absolute treat and they now stack like bricks. Got the last barrel 'baking' in the shed today, then a quick oiling ahead of the game next weekend.
