I am planning on adding a $2.50 chip to play limit games to my custom set.

Base color will be DG pink for sure. Pretty set on maroon and bright white spots, but I could be convinced to change them, maybe.

I‘m looking for feedback on which spot pattern to use. I want to keep it level 3 or lower if possible, but I could go to level 4. Cost is going to be big, I’m planning on 1400 chips so each level increase adds a lot of cost.

Here is are the the leading mock ups so far.

also included are the $1 & $25 chips that would be in play with it.

@p5woody with the awesome design as always.

I don't know I just think for limit games I think stacks of balanced chips with balanced chip spots

Top row, third chip is classic. Bottom row, first chip is hawt!

If you're thinking of potential different colours, the holy trinity is DG Pink, DG Yellow and Imperial Blue.

I agree...chips are cool but don't think maroon is the best spot option for DG pink
The inlay / theme is Fawsome with a capital F

I really dig the pink/maroon/white combo. I'd like the 614 or 414 spots best, with the 3DS316 close behind.

Love the inlay. Love the $2.50. Love the pink base.

My favorite spots for this chip would be 3D14, 2A12, or 3A12. Particularly 2A12 with your 2 favorite spot colors.

Hey

I'm by no means a great chip designer. I just wanted to say that no matter which route you take, these are baller. Great addition to your set!

I prefer similar but progressive spot patterns, so I like the top left one (the one that you have in the big picture), but with spots that are either:
- White/Dayglo Peacock
- White/Retro Blue
- White/Charcoal

I'm not convinced by the drab spot colors. Your other chips are mostly pretty colorful, and this one sort of represents spring(?), so there needs to be more color on the snapper too if it should fit well imo.

Given the L4 limit I think 3V12 or 6A14 are the spot types that might produce the best results independent of spot color choices.

Edit: Have you considered $2/$4 limit instead? Would require less additional chips, only upping the amount of $1s and perhaps a few more $20s.

My takes --

Colors are good as is.

4A14 or 3D14 I think would work best for your purposes.

Can’t wait to see massive piles of these (and see one in my collection)!

I don't think you should repeat the type of spot on the snapper with the $1 or the $25. But I love the spot color choices of bright white and maroon.
