The Tusken Raiders flashbacks are annoying.. because so far is the only interesting part of the show ...
I would prefer to have it in a full episode instead of the flashbacks.

Makes it really hard to follow.

I like backstory a lot. It serves to flesh out characters. Breaking Bad is a lot of fun, even though too much time has gone by and the characters look far too old now to be playing their earlier selves - Johnathan Banks looks like he could break a hip stepping off a curb.

But putting flashbacks inside of a backstory already set it the past? It sucks.

And the bike/landspeeder chase was hilariously bad. Get the budget to run it full speed or do something different. I kept expecting Fett to show up on a bantha and chase them down.

Enjoying it very much. Not every episode is going to be Luke Skywalker showing up - but the Tuskin storyline and the train action sequence were both stellar.

It is true - no one hates Star Wars more than Star Wars fans, and I always consciously steer away from that neck-beard / in-cel mentality. It's a fun space fantasy with characters that are grounded and storylines less so. I'm here for all of it.

This week was better, but they really need to get moving with the story. The story seems stuck in a holding pattern and it’s barely lurching forward.

Same here. Honestly, I've been bored with most of the recent Star Wars movies. I think the Mandalorian has been one of the better products released in quite some time.

I never watched Battlestar Galactica, so I don't know.
If you want to watch a great series better than Breaking Bad or Games of Thrones I recommend Gomorra an Italian series about the mafia in Naples. I don't know if you can find it in the US.

I would agree. As a kid I enjoyed the original series. As an adult I liked the first few seasons of the reboot, but like Game of Thrones it faltered in later seasons

and the spin off Caprica was interesting, unfortunately the sales was not there so they cancelled it after 1 season.

If you plan to watch Battlestar Galactica, first found and watch the three-hour "episode 00" (also know as Battlestar Galactica miniseries part 1 & 2) .
I do not why, it's not included part of the season I which starts with episode called "33"

Caprica was kinda rough, def not on the level of the BSG reboot in quality

Agree. I stopped for pizza in a Naples restaurant. The prices were clearly marked up on the wall. The bill came and it was more than double the prices marked. I pointed this out to the waiter. He just shrugged and looked at the owner behind the counter. He had this malevolent smile than seemed to indicate that step 2 of the complaint process was him jumping over the counter and knifing me.

More than half that rating can be attributed to shots of Sackhoff off duty in an undershirt.

My wife and I watched the Mandalorian and loved it. This show is definitely slower but if they can avoid those pathetic glitter speeder gang chases it could become a great show. Hopefully it gets better but as it sits it's decent at least.

I enjoyed the first two episodes. I thought the flashbacks answered the main questions raised during The Mandalorian (how did he get out of the sarlacc pit & why was he dressed like a Tusken raider). I was looking forward to getting on with the main story...then episode 3 happened.

Episode 3 was awful. I understand that they needed to show Boba getting people to work with/for him. But the low speed mobility scooter chase scene was...embarrassing.

Watched episode 4 last night. I thought it was really good. Filled in more that was not addressed during The Mandalorian. Got the main current story arc back on track. Hinted some potential things to come (with the musical swell at the end of the episode). I will admit I did not enjoy the scene in the kitchen but my children were laughing and enjoying that scene so I can overlook how much I thought it should have been edited out.

Yes, it is moving pretty slow. I think it would feel different if it could be binge watched as if it were a really long movie and not an episodic show.

I love the BSG universe, one of my favorite series. I have an even more granular list I think, as far as the order goes. I gotta double check but maybe I'll post it.

Caprica was definitely weak compared to the main series, but I was still invested in the universe enough to watch and I felt disappointed the story wasn't going to continue and they cancelled the series.
