4 of a Kind
Hi,
The "The Post" chips are my favorite cash sets.
I'm trying to build a small 6-max set but it'll be a long shot. Check my wanted classified if you have some you want to sell by the way. ;-)
So in order to wait, I wanted to revisit this set. It'll be done on the PolyClay line from SunFly.
Some considerations I had while designing this set :
- The PolyClay platform is ideal to fake shaped inlay. So I had to go with it.
- I used a font that matched the original The Post chips.
- Since the The Post chips are a cali set, on top of faux-shaped inlays, I wanted the logo in black and the denom in red.
- I changed the name to something that (1) still refers to some kind of important building you would fine in town, (2) that is also quite short and (3) that has something to do with me (I always worked in the financial industry).
I've not decided on the mold yet. It'll be between "Cards" or "Diamonds". But probably, it'll be cards.
Kid.
