Looking for some feedback and advice from fellow chippers regarding colour variation between batches, specifically when building a solid set.

I am in the process of building a small/medium size cash set using THC solids. At the moment I have acquired two racks of day blue solids which have been milled. I also committed to one rack of Royal Reds which will also be milled.

I will need to buy more royal reds and my concern is the possibility of have different colour reds since they will be coming from different members and potentially different batches.

Any members able to share experience on this topic and how to approach?

You will likely see some color variance, to be sure. Regardless of cleanliness, my solution is to run the entire batch through the ultrasonic cleaner and clean the piss out of them. Let them air dry overnight and then oil heavily. I let the oil set overnight, before even wiping off excess, too. Once that's been done, the color variation is insignificant enough, it no longer bothers me on both the fuchsia or day green solids I have multiple racks of. Can you see it in certain light if you're looking for it? Yes. Will anyone else notice or care, probably not outside of fellow chippers and even still...not many will care as it's somewhat unavoidable.
