I'm going to start building a mecid/relabel THC set. Since international shipping of full racks is pretty expensive I figured I'll try to get hold of some samples first, before I decide which chips to hunt down in bigger quantities.
My aim is to build a cash game set for the stakes ranging from 1-2 to 10-20.
Denoms and breakdown I will be aiming for would be:
1$ x 100 (120)
5$ x 200
25$ x 200
100$ x 100-200
500$ x 20-40
I'm also open to suggestions for the breakdown to make it playable with the different stakes. I know you Americans like to have loads of workhorse chips on the table, and of course that's the dream, but the first plan is to just make a playable set. I can always add some more racks later.
I love the seconday PCA 25$, so that will be my 25$ for sure. It's basically the chip that got me into chipping a few years ago, but sadly I have not been able to afford to build a set around it yet. Hopefully that can change going forward. For the 500 I will probably use some AS 20s that I will relabel. That means I am missing a 1$, 5$ and 100$. ( I will buy 25$ and 500$ samples as well though)
If any kind souls out there have some spare THC chips I will gladly buy some samples. They need to be mint/vgc and not super rare, so that I will be able to buy them in larger quantities later when I decide which way to go.
