Hey guys, I had posted a list of chips for sale yesterday on another account that I didn't even realize I had, and it was locked and I was told to repost. Yes they were in a SFRB. Im on hold to speak to someone at the Post office but in the meantime I filed a clam asking for the amount that the buyer paid for them just In case the postmaster can't locate the chips. When filing the clam it asked for Proof of Value, and I wasn't sure how to proceed so I just created a word doc that told them that I could prove what was paid but the value is subjective.

Unless extra coverage was purchased I think the limit on flat rate boxes is $50. Should be able to get that back just by documenting the price he paid for the chips.

I will edit/delete this if offering my opinion on reimbursement is considered inappropriate, but I'd say @toothpic deserves a refund, and then everyone just move on. This is a good lesson in the importance of taping the fuck out of boxes you ship. I never trust the adhesive strip on the flat rate boxes or envelopes and always make sure to include several layers of tape in both directions to keep everything together. Just my two cents.

After an hour hold I finally spoke to someone who honestly wasn't a ton of help. I filed a claim, but I prefer to obviously find the chips. No idea who to contact as far as that goes. I did research and figured out that there is a place where missing contents are stored, but I have yet to find a way to contact them.
