These tubes are thicker and more ridged than Uline and visapak tubes also hold up to 44mm chipco chips. The 12 tube is pretty sick because you can setup for 10 seats and keep extra colorup / rebuy chips in the extra 2 tubes and have a self contained set in tubes instead of tubes and racks like I have now..

A must for counting out tournaments, you can also put a sticker under the lid to randomize tables. I use the aluminum tubes for cash games and the different colors are different buy in and rebuy amounts.

Color coded tubes for different cash buy ins is a cool idea.

For cash I just put the min buy ins in tubes and supplement big chips
OR put typical buy-in in tubes and supplement or take away big chips. Either works. Never tried different amounts in tubes.

bump* and update. The clear tubes I am selling with the racks hold 43 chips each when the tube is filled all the way up to the top. I need to double check when I get home but I believe 39mm and 40mm chips fit within the lip of the plastic lid so will hold 43 when closed. The tubes will fit chips up to 44mm diameter chips but they will not fit into the lip of the lid so each tube will only hold 41 chips with diameters of 43mm (44mm) and still be able to close. thanks @ChaosRock for the input. I'm always trying to improve the product

I was planning on doing 43 chips for 25K staring stacks for a PLO tourney tonight but went with 42 chips for 20K. You can see that for 42 chips the lid is not all the way down.

Maybe these will help clarify; The plastic tube fits 43 chips if you can fit the chips in the lid indent. Pictured are 39mm NJ skulls 40mm also fit. But 43mm& 44mm chips fit in the tube but not the lid indent decreasing capacity by 2 chips. The tall aluminum tubes hold 48 chips up to the brim but the lid space can hold 2-3 more and fully close. Pictured are custom 39mm tinas. There are some variations in chips so results may vary.

Up to the brim - ASM chips. I didn’t try to put any in the lid.

Well curiosity got me to go down and test to see if 50 ASM h molds would fit in the aluminum tubes and yes,50 does fit with the top fully screwed on with a real small space to spare.
