Day 2 update, wife doesn't support the idea of building a glass shelf above our bed so I can fall asleep to staring at the chips.

That said, individual chip photo dump.. don't have a 25k.

Very curious to hear comments after play, especially if anyone has any issues with the $100 and $500.

Originally had a lighter purple on the $500 but color matching proved nearly impossible, so had to darken the chip. I changed the rolling edge art on the $500 to skinny down the pink/blues, and also changed slightly some of the $100 spot colors to brighten.

I think they're different enough, but across a table to a non-sharp eye, definitely still fear some dirty stacking.. but hoping minimal.

I dont think there will be any issues with those... the closer chips are the 500 and the 25000, but those 2 chips should never be on the table at the same time if the 25k even makes play, so that shouldn't be a problem either. Ill let you know, but I don't forsee any problems between the 100 and 500.

Aaaaaaand... I was wrong. Only 1.5 hours into the tournament and yes, the 100s and 500s are not good together. Very hard to tell apart and many dirty stacks. I will be ordering a new alternative 500 at some point.

Yeah, I'm thinking the best likely alternative would be something like the below (if trying to maintain color matching/etc).. think the white would help pull apart. Let me know thoughts, but also can always just pull in any other chip and do a round inlay too.

Or alt white/light grey.. think I like this most.

That would definitely set it apart. Another easy solution would be to just swap the 500 and the 5000 in the lineup. Then there are really no changes other than a zero and the 2 denoms are no longer next to each other. Or maybe do the white edges like you designed but also do the 5000 and 500 swap. This way the dark bases are separated but also have the white markings to help offset when that chip gets near a 100.

If that's doable, that would be what I may try to order. Replacing my 500s and 5000s is something I would do if I could keep shaped inlays rather than have both round. I already have the rounds on the $20 chip on my cash side.

Guessing that changing the art files is not optimal? If changing the purple chip edge spots is doable, I think that is a valid solution. As it sits now, there are too many similiar colors between the 2 chips that make dirty stacks a common thing, especially in lower light or someone with poor vision. I had one player having a hell of a time telling them apart after her recent eye surgery.

The white/gray edge spots should set them apart enough.

Hey @justincarothers , is this new design by @Cratty orderable going forward? If it's doable, I would order 100 of the $500 chips with the white/gray edge spots right now and I can test them out once they arrive and give feedback. Let me know and add me to any current order if so... Happy to be the guinea pig.

Yeah, more changes also means more potential to have something go wrong too w/ Tina and file management. We're working to test the alt purple spot colors and get back to the darker 25k colors.

We'll see if we can get samples photos from her first likely before opening orders.

I would love to get one of those toppers to go with the new chips. Who did you get the topper from?

Thank you
I honestly dont recall, buy I ended up with 2 of them and probably only need one. Send me a DM and if I can figure out how to ship it best, I can probably hook you up.

Nice set! You've had these in play. The chips, spots, colors, label design all look great. That said, I have a question. It would seem these "tinas" are made of the same material, by the same manufacturer so it would logically follow they all handle the same. However, I have read opinions that some of these molds feel different as far as slippery vs. grippy. A critical element for me has always been how chips handle as I can't tolerate slippery chips (no matter what kind).
SO, do these stack like bricks, handle well, no collapsing stacks?

No issues at all. They stacked well and shuffled well also. I was shuffling 12-16 chips all night long until I went out all in in 3rd place... lol. Not slippery and the stacks held, even high. I had some tall stacks and had them stacked on my bounty plaques as well. The chips hold very well.

Great to hear. 3rd place isn't bad, either
These are my (not Tangiers) ceramics that were made by "tina". This stack is 120 chips high:

I don't know if this link will work, but I've done a short video on slippy vs grippy. That's 40 chips between my thumb and middle finger and I wasn't applying max pressure:

Why not adjust the $100 edge spots to make it not dirty w a $500?

Just arrived yesterday. Round labels with some color and label swaps for micro stakes. Really beautiful and vibrant colors. The colors in this first pic looks pretty close to the actual chips, though the chips in person look even better. Thanks @Cratty and @justincarothers !

The second pic isn't as good, sorry. Color a bit off. Chips look much better in person. 5c grey and $5 pink color is more accurate in the first pic.
