I've got 7 players scheduled for a tournament tonight and I still haven't decided on a blind structure. It's a $20 buy-in, unlimited rebuy tournament, so encouraging all-ins before the rebuy period ends (level 5) is desirable. While I originally told the players it would be a T200k tournament, I settled on 125K starting stacks instead.

Here's what I'm thinking for starting stacks.
$500 * 14 = T7K
$1K * 18 = T18K
$5K * 10 = T50K
$25K * 2 = T50K

I'm wanting it to last around 3.5 hours.
If anybody has any blind structure recommendations, I'd really appreciate it.

Aight nobody has anything they can share. Fair enough! I'll make some shit up (one of my few natural talents)

With 7 players, re-buys, and 20-minute blind levels, it should finish around L11 or sooner (3:40 plus breaks). If you get a LOT of re-buys, you may want to drop the level times to 15-minutes starting with L6.

8 years late to this thread, but just acquired a set of chips to do a tournament like this. How did you like the structure and anything you would recommend changing?

Not that anyone asked me but…..
Too many lower end chips.
I would suggest sticking with @BGinGA structure.
I would suggest changing starting stacks to:
10/10/7/3 or better yet, 6/12/12/2
With the above structure, you never need more than one $500 chip to make the small blinds.
You don’t need ANY to post big blinds and theoretically, there will not really be a need for them for making actual bets.
Just my opinion.
