Looking to buy my first set, thoughts on total count/sizing for a max two table home game?

Help to list what structure your home game is , what the stakes are , typically how many players per table, how many usual buy ins etc. etc.

30-player T25-base tourney set, using 8/8/4/7/x starting stacks:

240 x T25
240 x T100
120 x T500
220 x T1000
180 x T5000
---------------
1000 chips, or you can optionally replace 20x T5000s with 20 x T25000 chips.

Up to 20-player events can use 12/12/5/6/x stacks.

Can also cover 20-player T100-base events with 10/6/11/x stacks, or single-table T500-base events (10/10/7/x).

So base T-100

Common starting stacks are 10/4/7/x or 15/5/11/x of 100/500/1K/5K where x is the number of chips needed to make the desired starting stack. Let's target a starting stack of T40K, that's 200BB if you start at 100-200.

Using the first starting stack for 20 players you are probably looking at 200/80/140/120 for starting stacks maybe add 20*T5k and 40*T25k to make an even 600 and have extra chips for rebuys and such.

Going for the more generous second stack model, you need 300/100/220/100 for starting stacks. Maybe add 40*T5K and 40*T25K to make your set 800 chips.
