I recently purchased 1000 of super diamond of casino supply and was wondering is there anyway you can do to make it less slippery?

Serve bbq ribs and hot wings at your games, encourage eating while playing.

But seriously, several hours of play should give the some "grit" but it might take awhile.

Welcome !

i think part of it cause they are too light apparently when i weight them they only weight 7.5 g

My favorite plastic diamonds!

Hey, it’s really not cool to say negative stuff about poker chips that some people can only afford.
You have opinions, that’s great, but the OP didn’t ask if you liked them or not. They just want some help, not some chip bashing.
[edited]. Disregard I was being too much of a smart ass

Affordability or nor not, they get you playing. Are there better chips, sure, but any poker chips get you playing poker with a smile are excellent in my book.

@hieupokerchips - just get playing! I bought a set a long time ago and they served me very well for years!

Normally, I'm very much live and let live when it comes to poker chips. Use what you can afford and be happy with it. I will say that I would do whatever I could to strongly warn people from purchasing these. Personally, I found them barely functional for their purpose. Sure any round plastic disc can serve as a game token. But my experience is they did not stack. They just kept falling over and made a general mess. Nearly impossible to handle. They were tremendously frustrating to use for me. I would encourage anyone that could afford even slightly better to get dice chips or whatever. I would prefer playing with the actual cash and coin to these.

An answer to the OP's initial question I cannot think of any mechanical intervention to make them less slippery that wouldn't involved compromising the basic chip.

hey i appreciate the honesty. I purchased these for my roulette wheel due to the simplicity and price, i gotta agreed with you that these are very hard to handle since they are so light and slippery, i would prolly never buy these again

I had about 2000 super diamonds once, the heavy Marion’s, using them for a faro setup.

I ran them through a rock tumbler overnight with regular playground sand as the abrasive. It removed all the flashing and made them stack better. I used sand instead of carborundum to be a little less abrasive.
