If the bid is low, then yes you can get chips for cheap. Sometimes their auctions don't get enough bids

People skip them because they know they high prices. Long term their strategy loses them views and bids. Few repeats.

People go to these vendors as last resorts, buy what you need kinda deal instead of shopping them first.

In my humble (and worthless) opinion, that is way closer to a $60 chip than this is being a $15,000 set of chips.

Just saying that it seems that when it comes to these things, what something is worth is less important than to say you have it.
