Well, I received my new custom Chanman table and I'm over the moon. I think it all hasn't sunk in and it was promptly covered with a custom dining table topper to protect it. I have a few rough pictures now. I will update this thread with new pictures with updated lighting above it and then when I finally host Cash games on it.

Shout out to @T_Chan who delivered this baby in person. Thanks so much Tony. You are amazing and this thing is an instant beauty in the home. As a poker table, of course, it's beyond beautiful. A work of art. However, in its dining table form, it truly makes our open concept living space pop.

Tony is the most amazing builder and can literally make poker table dreams come true. In addition to that, he is just so awesome to deal with! I'm in poker heaven!

Here are the first few pics....in my excitement as he pulled up outside...I didn't snap pics of it loaded..but after. LMAO! I got so excited..

That is badass! Personal delivery

No pics with the Chanman?

Good call man! Never thought of it. He really was hard at work the whole time. We did nerd out on chiptalk after but I forgot to take a snap. Thanks for the compliments
Is that a suede rail or what?

Thanks Nistha!!! I don't really know yet how to react. It's been covered right away. The day I have some games and buy the chairs yet to be selected, it will sink in. I also plan to upgrade the area with shelving in place of the freezer etc. The plan is not fully realized yet, but it won't take long. Bit of custom lighting and some nice chairs and some shelving will make it all a nice little area. For the most part, this table will function as a daily retreat for my family. At night...once a month or so...it will come to life...

I will absolutely take way better close up pics of the table in its poker form on the first game day. I'll use a proper camera! The topper is dam heavy and I will need help from one of my guests on game days.

And it's not real suede...it's "tuxuede". Like a synthetic version. Still wasnt cheap. Feels and looks like the real thing. Real stuff was killer $$$

WHOA!!!! I'll take a small vacation up your way with the fam. I'd love to come by and play a game. Maybe I can bring some sweet chips with me

I'll have TChan do my second table once I have appropriate space to run a two table setup. I have plans on reworking our basement to more then double my current space. I already have some themed ideas in mind!

Well folks,

Figured this would be the best place to blab a bit about my new Chanman Poker table and the Felting of my Primary Jack Detroit Tourney set. Wow!!!

First off, @T_Chan , you are the purveyor of poker dreams man. The topper came off and this table is alive. It's amazing. I don't even know how to explain my feelings in words. I found myself drifting off into thought while the game was running and was caught a few times daydreaming about how awesome it all was.

Second, thanks to the fellow members who helped make my game fantastic last night. So special thanks to @Frank and @LotsOfChips for being in attendance.

@LotsOfChips is the leading points runner still, and @Frank finished in a cash position, so congrats to you guys.

I've added a few pics of the table in play...

This was the chip leader doing what he did most of the night all the way till he knocked me out at heads up...good player...it was his first time...who the hell invited him:banghead::)

I played well enough for second...had high hand and a decent stack most of the night...

I must add that I personally, have zero issue with the mixing of 39mm and 43mm chips. Don't know why it tilts some but not me. I love the 2 sizes and enjoyed this Jack set. So effing cool. Colorful splash pots... beautiful table stacks...

We ran a small 4 man cash game for the hardcore degens like myself, @Frank , and @LotsOfChips, for about an hour or so. Basically lost all my winnings from a 6hr tournament in 1 hour. Total degen at its best. Love it!!!

Another special thanks to @Gear for gifting me this Horseshoe DB. Got to put it in play for my first ever felting of the "casino used" HS Clevelands set.

Somehow, the ameristar quarter always catches my eye.
Jealous of the Jack chips :cautious:
Really amazing set up! Table looks fantastic :tup::tup:

And I forgot another special shout out....and its good I forgot...because the man deserves his own threads...

@BGinGA

I'm not going to explain much but will say, as what I consider an ambassador for PCF, Dave is unreal! Helpful beyond words. I ran a structure that he laid out for me while responding to what were probably bizarre emails. I'm still learning about poker tournament structure...chip stacks...etc. I lean heavily on PCF and the various threads and discussions I've seen and used all have this man's wisdom infused into them.

Thanks Dave, who even at 1am, took the time to lay out a tournament structure for me and Dave...

The Tournament was AMAZING! I had comments from a few players it was my best tourney yet. It just flowed well. The breaks and recommendations for chip up were wicked. Like wow!!!

Thanks very much Dave.

What did you end up doing with your old table? retired? or put to work as a backup?

The old table is still in use. I've got Both tables at my disposal!

Mostly, I only manage STTs. It's been tough to grow my game where I live and I haven't gotten the best support from some of my closest friends. I had hoped id be running 2 table games, but it hasn't happened.

I will keep the other table in hopes I can grow a side cash game instead.
