Just flew over the house about 10:15 EDT. Had to Google what they were.

that must be the recent launch. the ones i've been seeing are spaced much further than that. pretty cool stuff ~not knowing what they are could seem a little weird

I heard the amount of satellites is becoming a problem especially for astronomers. Hopefully they can figure out how not to pollute our orbit to much :nailbite:

We were a little freaked out not knowing. I have not been keeping up with things I guess. All the news is Covid 19. Then of course Google to the rescue.

heavens above tracks them. you can not only look for them on schedule but also identify them. it'll be like, "starlink 1306" or w/e

it would have been a string of them like that for us here but, too cloudy. hoping for clear skies tonight. the best i've seen is a string of about 9 that i could only see about 4 at a time cause they were all spread out.

the latest is launch 6. looking like around 8:40 our time will be good
