Checking some other places as well for feedback, but the internet can be difficult to sleuth through. Long story short, want to nab some kicks. Preferably some Jordan 11s, Breds. Internet's amazing, I can snap grab my size from StockX.

$440 before all the extra BS, $520 delivered to door. This is about right yeah? I mean new releases are like $220, so I figure at worst $520 would be overpaying by like $50-75?

I've been out the game a long time, so just checking and hope someone can yay or nay.

(I don't care about release date or other specifics, just want Bred 11s that aren't low top)

I would be careful with StockX they recently removed claims from their product page that identifies sneakers as “Authentic.” Basically Nike called them out because they bought 4 pairs that ended up being fake from them to prove their authenticity isn’t true. I would look at “Goat” it’s harder to become a seller on that website if my memory serves me right.

Expect to overpay. I’ve been having trouble unloading Jordan’s I purchased thru snkrs at retail because they already retail so high.

But if you really want them, go for it! The way I see it, you’ll get $500 worth of wearable value into them if that is your cost.

Are there any sneaker heads on the forum? I'm helping someone sell between 50 and 100 pairs of Nike's. Average price around $500. All new through the years straight from Nike so 100% authentic. Won't be doing eBay but maybe some stockX and of course here would be nice. Will probably be making some posts in my forum soon.

@BarrieJ3 are you into sneakers or just this one pair?

I would love to be in to sneakers but unfortunately no, don’t have great knowledge in that area.

I know that we have sneaker folks here though.

@sheikh617
Maybe @chrismurda?

And I’ll keep an eye out, would still be cool to see what they are and maybe I’ll grab one instead of the Js!

If there is a spreadsheet or something feel free to share it. I also know people who run shops who might be willing to take it all price dependent. Make it easy for y’all. Let me know!

$500 for $200 shoes? Seems like a trap or cash grab to me but then again I’m a single dad of 6 kids so unlike poker chips, shoes come and go fast. They look fantastic and seem like they would last awhile though. I like the color and it’s ability to hide stains. I’ve never owned a pair of Jordans, would they help me coach basketball better? I have a big game next week and these 7 year olds need an edge… wait nevermind. I’d use the $500 to repaint the court lines as the duct tape is wearing out in a lot of places…

This is the newest release just so u know so it’s not the same material and feel as even the ones from the 2010’s.

What size are you? Might know someone who has some shoes u might want for cheaper than what GOAT and stockx prices will be especially with all the fees

hard to tell fake from real jordans… are any of these pictured Jordan’s? I like the yellow ones alot and I was wondering how some of these kids are so good at 7 years old. Is it the shoes?

I’ve been out the shoe game for the last decade. But if they want max value, selling direct thru instagram, eBay/stockx/grailed or similar would be the best option.

Otherwise consignments would probably pay about 60% of market price.

MOVE on with your shaming of others. Someone spending $500 on shoes has ABSOLUTELY nothing to do with you. Idk why God told you to repeatedly go off on others for their spending habits, but seriously dude enough is enough.

And despite you being self righteous and condescending, the answer is actually yes. Many of those kids in those photos would benefit from having shoes made for the activity they’re doing. As would proper flooring and everything else. If they can’t afford that or it’s not that type of league, GREAT. I would never judge them for it.

But get off your high horse and don’t judge kids on my team for wearing $200+ shoes, don’t judge me for buying sticky pad for my players before they go in, don’t judge us for having matching team items.

I didn’t respond to your other posts because they had nothing to do with me, and I moved on and kept chipping. But now you’re in my thread. I spent weekends coaching, all sat night game planning, I scheduled extra work practices for our team at our house. Who the fuck cares if the shoes we’re using are $5 or $500? And most importantly, who tagged you or asked you to sacrimoniously waltz in here. Why did you feel the need to attack others and buttress your own actions?

I get it’s the internet, but enough is enough man. I like you and I sincerely hope that you, your family, your church, your league/team, and everything else go well. SINCERELY. But your responses here are uncalled for and honestly, distasteful. Peace and love dude, no matter what you can afford.

Lol I’d prob be happy with fakes. I’ve just become such a dad/old man wearing running shoes with pants.

As a kid, no matter what I was wearing, my fav show was 11 Breds, and funnily enough those ended up being fake! Probably not best for adult me to try and emulate what I thought was appealing at 16, but I have fond memories of this specific shoe.

Jordan is a fashion brand now tbh. They still make actually basketball shoes like the Luka and Zion signature shoes, But all of Jordan's Signature shoes (1-13) is really just fashion shoes.

What size are you looking for?

To be fair expensive shoes are infinitely better for playing sport. I'd for sure not give away $400 and spend that on better footwear for the kids sports.

Maybe I didn’t make clear when I replied earlier but since YOU came here and YOU asked… I say for $500 = NAY. Not worth it. Don’t ask if you don’t want to know and use the ignore button man. It helps. Peace.

Not even close man. Just apologize and move on or don’t comment at all. I asked if the price was correct for a specific good that required intimate knowledge of the industry.

You’re not dense, you understood. You did not think that I was asking everyone if my valuation and values, how I determine to spend money, was correct in their eyes.

Nor did your lengthy post regarding your plight as a single father and begging the question semantics answer that question either, even if that was your thought process.

Simply put, you were out of place and being an absolute ass - not only placing your personal pov on a pedastool but mocking others who are different.

You are not accepting of others, you are pedantic and judgemental - I don’t know about real life, but certainly here. You hide behind religion and woe is me tale to excuse childish and close minded behavior, and if you are serious then maybe some contemplative self reflection is in order. We can all do better, and I’m moving on. But your rhetoric and pride don’t fly here, let’s let people enjoy their time.
