When I used to play at Chumash ('06-'08) the 2/5 was $200 max buyin and was the biggest game spread, and the 1/2 was $100 max. Always been weird games there. If the 2/5 continued to be a $200 max no wonder everyone stopped playing if they could play a 5/10 instead, or a 2/3 with more than 40 bigs.

Yeah theyve always been kinda weird. At one point the 1/2 nl was 60max. I prefer The Players Casino.

Haven't played in almost 3 weeks due to the flu and vacation. Got here tonight and had dinner with @Poker Zombie while @Mrs Poker Zombie was busy cashing in the tournament. Then got a seat in the cash game and flopped 2 sets in the first 3 hands. Won like $100. From there the deck turned evil. Got it all in with AQ vs. 73s. He hits a straight flush. Then AJ on an AK7 flop vs an opponent who flopped a set. Next hand get AK board 933 bet flop, check a 2 turn. River K. He has 99. Then I get AJ on an AQ7 rainbow board 5 turn bet and get jammed on.

Therefore, on buy in #2.

It must have been our dinner. My bad luck must have been contagious, as the deck just hated me tonight. QQQJJ lost to QQQQ not one, but twice. Lucky for me, Mrs Zombie cashed in the tournament and mitigated our losses.

Still, finally meeting @Payback counts as a win. Perhaps someday we'll meet again when my good luck is the only contagion in the air.
