100% no worries if he’s not comfortable doing so, but thought hey I could just pick up the chips or money in person real quick as I go by and kill 2 birds with 1 stone.

I think it’s obvious from my posts no hard feelings, totes get it if that’s too weird having someone drop by someone’s home (I wouldn’t want anyone stopping by my place).

I had let this one go until others brought it up- which I then had to return and admit there was no payment made by him and tried (successfully) reaching out to Nate.

He has since again ghosted me and ignores outreach.

For those that know Nate and care to, please let him know I don’t know any other path forward to try and get ahold of him other than contacting him through work directly, or family via Facebook.

I can’t imagine ever actually doing that tbh, I don’t think owing $1200 over 1.5 years and multiple ghostings on the same deal while also attending PCF meetups meets the threshold necessary to contact a pcfer’s life outside of here, but it’s the only available avenue left.

I’ll get feedback privately from trusted pcfers before ever doing that, but it is the only step left and I’d like Nate to know that. He’s had this information texted as well.

just curious, for those friends of this guy on here, does he dispute that he owes the money, or has he given any type of legit reason for not paying? If it were one of my friends I’d bust their balls repeatedly until they made it right, if in fact it needs to be made right.

I really don’t want to go down that route given the history here on this thread of people populating with comments meant to be obtuse and counter helpful, but I welcome honest responses.

If they have a diff story I’m more than open to hearing it. I was explicitly told that the guy had extraneous personal life happenings going on at that time and my shipment didn’t help those matters. They are personal, however he did feel open enough to share them with attendees at the meetup he attended. I won’t share, but suffice to say sometimes life is hard and sucks.

I personally do not have any further insights, I’ve shared the exact timelines, I’ve shared the tracking, I’ve shared confirmed receipt of chips, etc. There is nothing left I could share to make this more clear and transparent.

Since receipt of chips almost 1.5 years ago, I’ve had 2 total interactions/responses. Nate (I believe accidentally) answered my call a month and a half ago. He said I’ll ship chips back and that was it.

On 08/19, he sent a text saying:

“They're boxed up, but I am not home, I am traveling for work a lot right now. I'll get them sent when I can.”

Then back to ghosting.

I have never received any other communication, reasoning, complaint, apology, etc. from Nate.

At this point I’m not sure what it could be other than hyper intentional ghosting and disrespect. Hence my desire to be paid, and him to understand what little other paths forward I have.

I’m good with the L. I’ve taken multiple Ls here not being paid on previous deals, but those were all in $100s (this is the largest nonpayment I’ve had).

I already tried closing this one, but it got reopened by others. So I figured I’d try again, and it’s resulted in this worse experience.

No doubt I’ve flip flopped. Pretty sure it’s up to me how much I care, and that amount was 0. It was others’ actions that brought it back up.

I am 100% certain there was not a way for me to handle this that would’ve made the brigade team happy.

As for being sure it’s made right, we’re well past that. I don’t think it’s about money on either side, that’s not the meaningful part. I don’t think I’ve ever posted about other pcfers that never paid, but they also didn’t just drop off for years while knowingly ignoring me and attending pcf events.

My post was just a last ditch effort in hopes of not having it escalate. Again, I’ll get feedback before ever doing that, and still likely too afraid to do it anyways out of fear of blowback and do unto others.

I’m not sure what the generic PCF feedback would be these days. We’ve had quite a few scams, issues, proven lies, etc. on a bunch of different threads recently. Sometimes PCF thinks it’s a big deal, sometimes not.

Tl;dr - Idc about the money, at this point it’s come to light Nate is intentionally being a d*ck about it (imo) and I’m not cool with that sh*t.
