So I haven’t seen much chips like this one here. I picked the set up from a jewelry store in Beirut months back. The ebony moccasin wooden box looks and feels like an Elie Bleu humidor. These are rare chips that were contracted out to CPC/ASM for Dal Negro (Italy). I’ve played with this set 3 times now and players prefer these over the Paulson’s. I would like to murder them for a high roller tournament set but cannot trust anyone that would do that type of craftsmanship here, so I’m taking them back with me to Cali to sell or keep. I can also send the set via DHL but the case weighs hella heavy so shipping would be pricey. I’m trying to work with you. Please give me you thoughts. Oh set comes with sealed set of dal negro plastic cards (2) and a case key. $1945 plus shipping via PayPal. Total chip count are 799.

chips don’t need to have broad appeal to command premium prices. I searched and couldn’t find any sales of these so it’s not like there’s an established market price. I have no idea how to value the case but his price probably works out to roughly $2/chip. For rare, near mint asm chips that’s not really “the moon”. The only thing is, because it’s so niche, it’ll take longer to sell. Worth the hassle for some, others prefer a quick sale.

They also had spotted versions of these fwiw.

If you decide to murder - these inlays are the easiest compression clay to remove. They actually just pop right out.
Your asking price is WAY too high (IMO.) Keep the case, sell the chips for around $1/chip - or transform them if you like.

I didn't even notice this was an actual for sale thread.
I saw the "Please give me you thoughts" sentence, and just responded.
My apologies...GLWS!

I also did the same thing as you until I saw and asked why is there a price tag on it

Overall i say it just a very misleading Sales thread

Since you asked I think they are really cool chips with a beautiful case. It appears the breakdown is all over the map and basically unplayable. Also with a few different dark colors I think dirty stacks could be an issue.
For whatever reason this CPC mold is unloved by many, and diecar solids seem to sell for .50 or less per chip around here it seems.

Don’t murder these. Also post the breakdown
For some reasons he didn’t post it here but he did posted it in his first thread where he showcase these chip

110 x 0.50 (Gray)
125 x 1.00 (Blue)
109 x 2.00 (Yellow)
105 x 5.00 (Pink)
105 x 20 (Purple)
90 x 50 (Brown)
80 x 100 (Red)
75 x 500 (Black)

Total chip count is 799

It still playable for 50c/$1 or $1/$2 stake

Just not the optimised breakdown and $2 will prob be good candidate to relabel as 25c

Agreed. With this many chips the set is absolutely playable for several different cash stakes and could even handle a T5 tournament structure. $2 could also be relabeled a $25 and the $50 relabled a $1000 to improve the tournament structure. Although picking up a few more $100s might be desirable for tournament play.

Bottom line, for the right person (or for you OP) this is still a very cool set.

I don’t know what level these are but the prices are below via CPC. Thanks for your insight though dude!

I think this set has to fit a certain demographic but could be playable. However, the variety of chip colours on the table to make this set playable might make things confusing

They are Cards and Dice mold solids.
Level 1 inlaid. I could be wrong (won’t be the first time) but I think it is fairly common for diecar solids to sell for well below a buck a chip. Doesn’t mean they aren’t cool chips though. To the right buyer they could certainly be worth more.

I had a set of these chips. And I didn't like them at all. Let's not argue about design, because it's a matter of taste. (but for my taste it is terrible and this despite the fact that they were with edges). I got them very cheaply. But, the first thing I did with them was to start getting rid of the stickers. But, very quickly I realized that I was wasting chips and time. And just sold them. I would not exaggerate their value. At "cpc" you can make any kind of sticker and any breakdown for $1.6. It doesn't work that way with used chips. But, in any case, I wish you success with the sale!
