2oz of quality tequila
1oz of fresh lime juice
.5 to 1oz of agave nectar (depending on your sweetness)

Combine into your shaker, and shake till cold. Double strain over ice, and garnish with a lime. The best simple classic margarita you’ll ever have, guaranteed!
Your welcome and GLWS!!

Older clay chips had some lead mixed into the clay to give the chips more weight. The lead content decreased in 1998 in Paulson chips and is almost nonexistent now.

These chips definitely are not leaded. Older Paulsons and TRK chips are the only leaded chips out there.

Excuse my ignorance, but what does leaded mean?
Not ignorant to ask pertinent questions. Ignorance would be not asking at all.

Be careful falling for ANY leaded chips, as it's a path you won't be able to stray from! Leaded chips are the shiznit!

Adding agave is great. For those that may not know Tequila is made from blue agave plants so agave nectar blends very well in flavour with all tequilas. I very much approve your recipe however it might be too sweet for some people, add agave sparingly.

Classic Lime Margarita in all its variations is probably the best cocktail IMO.

For anyone that hasn't tried Fortaleza it is the best tequila on earth.
