Prior to the finalization I remember there was a poll that came out and many people expressed dislike for having 39mm and 43mm mixed within one set. The more I thought about it the more it made sense that having a set with mixed sizes seemed awkward. The cash chips still are mixed with sizes but I figured in reality most people are not getting 100s or 500s in play anyway. This way someone can make a usable cash set with denoms from 25c up to $20 and have a playable 39mm cash set. The $20 was changed back to 39mm. right at the last minute and I think it was the right choice.

Early early on the plan was to make both tourney and cash all 43mm. and I wish I would have done that.
I am one of those that does not like to mix both. Reason why I am going to be parting with my AS 25 and 100. Would love to have am all cash 43mm. Problem is I don't think I can afford it

The more I collect dealer buttons.. the more I want to make an all 60mm tourney set!! Absolutely ridiculous I know but a stack of dealer buttons is pretty awesome!!

I am not too sure how that would work or who makes chips in 60mm I know GPI does make 50 mm. paulson chips.

Haha just get a ton of dealer buttons made by @ABC Gifts and Awards but as chips instead of DB! can't say that wouldn't be original... Damn it! I always let my ideas out of the bag!! BTW I think @Seeking Alpha Social Club has a 48/50mm tourney set! Still havent put my hands on it quite yet but I have got the invite!!

You need to come on by and shuffle them. The 50mms are AMAZING to play with!! (:

I like in a tourney having high-denoms be larger sizes for use in late rounds. The blinds grow, so do the chips. I think a lot of amateur players enjoy that... The big chips signal that they made it.

In cash games, I don’t care do much , though it’s kind of useful at (say) 2/5 when someone has a $500 chip at the bottom of a stack—that way you can’t miss it. A lot of casino dealers seem lax about letting players obscure their higher-value chips.
