I strongly trust Justin to make everyone whole, not that it excuses the situation.

Tommy is not out of line here because 1) he's the head mod, 2) it's a simple warning to subsequent people, and 3) this is the second time this has happened in the past year I believe.

upNdown is defending a friend and this isn't a seemingly regular practice in past similar situations.

I think everyone is coming from a place of good faith. I believe the last situation w/ Justin was an unfortunate personal issue and expect him to come back and make it right. I do feel for everyone affected, however, because few things can put a bigger damper on chipping than such a situation, especially for a new chipper.

Here's to hoping everyone is made whole sooner than later.

Is this a new service you’re offering? Not sure that would be my move, regarding a few singles from a five-year member who’s played with dozens of PCFers. But it’s not my call.

If it was one or two late shipments, but the seller was communicating, I’d agree with you. But it is numerous sales/auctions, and the seller has been active on the forum but not responding to buyers. My PMs and emails have gone unanswered. @Tommy is protecting the integrity of the forum, especially when trust plays such a key role in transactions here.

Noones at fault here (outside of potentially seller I guess).

However, as always, it points towards a HUGE need for standardization.

These things are happening more and more and more frequently.

Over half of my recent purchases took over a month to be sent, and those purchases were all far more expensive than a single or two.

I say standardization because pinging Tommy privately after a couple weeks? If that’s the bar for mod outreach, good lord I can’t imagine their inboxes.

I can’t keep track each week of what PCF newly defines as acceptable vs not acceptable.

FYI - I don’t expect mods or admins to provide that standardization. It would be on the community. But that won’t happen because the community refuses to even collectively define mint, near mint, etc.

I think the CG calls this a "member value enhancement." Seems like some folks just have a bias against lightly salted, buttery crackers, unfortunately. I feel like @Poppin92 got away with a lot more cash for a lot longer with much less fanfare.

Anyway - not that I owe anyone here (other than the buyers) an update but I've shipped all items and provided tracking to the three members who were waiting on stuff from me.
