(not a dibs listing, preference goes to custom sample collectors. heavy preference to trade. this was purchased privately as a duplicate to help out other sample collectors, originally paid around $55 euro after shipping)

@Fran

Everything shipped in SFRB ($10.59 using Pirate Ship). Buy 4 samples, get your fifth free! (avg price of the 5 samples discounted off). Priority to original owners in the rare case they need extras.

For me, a couple things stand out on this one. 1 being that almost every single sample set looks like other sample sets. Custom HOF is kinda funny at this point because every set is just repeating what others have done, hard to do anything "new" this many years later.

But (this may be completely made up in my head) I feel like these spots you don't see much - of course you see half and half chips and quarter pie sets, but I don't think you see many that use those and commit to a growing spot type ending up with something like your $20.

Add in an extraordinarily rarely used mold in H Mold (this is one of my only H mold samples, and my only H mold duplicate), along with non US currency, and no public sales from a non US chipper? It's one of those fun samples to find and have in the collection.

I don't talk to any custom collectors. I prob should've at some point. I'm curious what everyone collects and why.

Like, is it customs you like? Customs from people you like? Hof and community ones? Maybe you're just a charity auction kinda person. Gotta catch em all?

I find it supes bizarre what sells and what doesn't sell, and the pricepoints. I thought something like this would be an insta nab, since it's a hole in the majority of collections and won't be hitting public sales.

Bump.
