Never made it up there. For my poker trips, its too far of a walk since I stay mid strip. The furthest north I've gone is the Venetian, the furthest south is MGM Grand. Oh wait, I did uber to Resorts World one time. I guess I could have done the same for Sahara but never seemed like they had many tables going.

Not surprised to see this one go. They would struggle to get one game. Comfortable room on the strip they should have had several games going. Hopefully this will be the last LV Poker Room to close for a while.

That whole area of the strip is dead regarding poker...even Ressorts World is struggling to have a few tables running.
Only Westgate is a real option.

Orleans, Horseshoe, Bellagio, Aria, Wynn, Venetian and Horseshoe is where it's at.

Ceasar Palace has closed the poker room too and what I heard it will not be opening again (even after the HR slots area is renovated)

I think the only thing saving Resorts World is the NAPT which looks to have been a big success the last two years. During the week they struggle to get games going. The Wynn gets all the business RW thought they would be getting. We stayed at RW 4 times this summer and even staying on property we would walk to the Encore which is an easy 10 minute walk. Bellagio/Aaria/Wynn/Venetian are the only rooms in town that are safe. Horseshoe is only relevant because of the WSOP.

If Caesars Palace poker room stays closed, that will be the end of an era, the last of the old school (pre '70) casinos with poker
