Lol, because while all the original casinos in the Chicago area were riverboats (Hollywood, Par-a-Dice, Empress, Grand Victoria, Harrah's), Rivers is land based.

Good luck with your search.
LOL Thanks

I thought "missed the boat" was a good pun since its The Rivers :p

Here's some weird trivia... Rivers isn't on dry land. They actually dug a pit, filled it with water, and then built the casino over it. Because Illinois law is freaking stupid and that was the hoop they had to jump through in order to stay in compliance.

They're still using those chips at the casino, but I believe it's only for Bacarat now. And last time I went there, after waiting two hours, I still couldn't even get a seat at the low stakes table.

I’d pay $4 a chip to harvest me a rack by the barrel for good condition chips

It's cost at least $10 a chip to get me to sit in a casino for a few hours right now ;)

I remembered some people selling them about a year back and was trying to go through old posts. Didn't find a specific sales thread, but I did find this:

And pretty damn fragile as house molds go. A number of chippers have reported dropping the chips from chest level to the floor, only to have them split into multiple pieces.

Something to consider...
