I may be totally wrong on this, but I believe there were different runs of CDI '98's in which some have the darker green inlay while others have the light green "faded" looking inlay. I have mint $25's with both inlays. This was how they were printed. GLWS!

That is correct, they were produced this way. Absolutely nothing wrong with the chips.
 
There are newbies vacuuming up everything shiny they see, and they're overlooking these River Bend $1's. Gems. Leaded, spotted white $1's are sometimes the hardest thing to find for a mixed set. And here you've got enough of them, and in great condition (bet these shuffle like butter) and at $2 apiece, I think they're kind of a steal.

I'll take better photos tomorrow to show them in natural light and I think that'll help move them but I agree :)
