He “the chip guy” only had a few singles from the secondary Paulson set.

And there’s even more to the lore… once GPI & Rio found out what was done with the ESSTs and that the chip design was copied intentionally, they immediately swapped out that set with the newer/replacement secondary chips.

There’s some old posts here that discuss it if you dig deep.

I always found it hard to believe that complete tournament set breakdowns were “misplaced” and forgotten.
They stored each denom - thousands and thousands of each denom - separately. It’s not like they had tournament breakdowns ready to go. A misplaced box here or there would have had mainly just one denomination, not T100-T5000000.
They shipped those boxes to the shredder, they didn’t bring a shredder to the parking lot at the casino.

Correct…they certainly had the “right” chips set aside. Specifically a good amount of sought after high denoms for singles selling.

Haha on that same note…I tried to do matching inlays and I ran tests with gear, but the arc yellow matching inlay just look like piss yellow… @kk405 did a phenomenal re-label using black inlays.

Yeah but that looks like an exact copy? Did they do literal copies of same exact colors and spots, with the only difference being THC vs RHC?

I mean kudos to them but that seems like a HUGE eff up by Paulson/GPI/whoever.

By the time anyone found/realized there were “fakes” in the pool, they wouldn’t even be able to figure out where they came from via cameras.

One simple sleight of hand and boom stack grows by 100k.

Very surprising that they continued to let nagb and personal purchases slide by after that, you’d think they lock it down after it affecting one of their largest clients from their largest market.

And Paulson GPI doesn’t let NAGB “slide” they truly get fooled…from what I’ve gathered…
