Note that a couple of the photos are really inaccurate color-wise (especially the photo of the $25 in racks -- the colors look all washed out, and I assure you, they aren't!). The photo below is accurate.

Photo shows 1100 chips, but the set was chopped in half, and there is a 550 chip set remaining, as described above.

If you wanted to add on to the 550 chips, the ChipVault still has these chips -- but you'll need to watch for a good sale, because the posted prices are much higher than what you can get this set for!!

Undoubtedly this ^^. Mel, if you hand-picked those colors/denoms, you did an outstanding job.

How can you tell? I'm new enough to Bud Jones, that I can't tell used from uncirculated. They all look new to me! Please educate me, I'd appreciate it.

New Bud Jones (on the right) have a satin finish. When they see table time they turn glossy because all the shuffling plus oils from people's hands essentially "polish" the chip.

The inlay is starting to yellow on the used chip (this one also happens to be cracked at the 9 o'clock position but it's holding together). There's also a bit of table junk in the border between the recessed inlay and chip body.

The used chip is scratched on the body.

Doesn't anyone have a Bud Jones itch that they need to scratch? As far as Bud Jones chips go, these are pretty awesome!! Just check out the colors.
