Paulson put cancellation stamps on blanks to prevent counterfeits... but they never once considered that someone might make counterfeit cancellation stamps!

Chipguide says they were issued in 2001, which is right in the "iffy" region.

Weight *may* help, but is not definitive. I have handled plenty of solid colour leaded Paulson THC chips that weighed 10g each or less.

These are perfectly usable as is, for cash or tourney. They could be murder candidates, but for me would only be if in extreme need, considering they are ex-casino. Usually plenty of other solid Reds that can be murdered (initialed or even random-image hot stamps) that are available.
