fwiw I have two racks of these, and they all have a uniform base color. Not sure what is happening with that pic.
 
there are as received from TCR and would definitely need a clean up. Some edges seem indeed lighter on some chips but the faces are all uniform:

Edit to my post above; I saw the dibs for the 3 barrels, missed the subsequent post changing to a dibs for a full rack. Figured if someone wanted 3 barrels, I could make use of the other two.

Still might be interested in a couple barrels...
