Glws! When I came back from hiatus I keep seeing collected during wsop or harvested during wsop. Or first week of wsop. What's the significance of this? Was there a tournament there and mint chips reissues to the casino or something?

The WSOP got moved from the Rio to Bally's/Paris last year. In the WSOP poker room they errected a temporary cage and put up a bunch of cash tables. In anticipation of these tables they ordered hundreds of thousands of brand new chips which were very easy to just walk up and get by the rack. People are denoting WSOP because chips harvested in the first couple weeks were either mint or had no wear.
