Is there a year to stay above that is generally "safe" for Paulsons to not have lead? I am newer to poker chips and I am interested in getting samples of CPC and Paulsons but wasn't sure about the lead

1955-1965 -- made by Burt Co. for C&J, LCV only, no lead

1965-1975 -- made by Burt Co. for Paulson, LCV only, no lead

1975-1977 -- made by Burt Co. for Paulson, LCV and SCV, no lead

1975-1998 -- made by Paulson, LCV and SCV, leaded formula

1998-2002 -- made by Paulson, LCV and SCV, both leaded and unleaded as color formulas were switched to unleaded

2002-2006 -- made by GPI, both molds, unleaded except for six colors

The lead in poker chips is extremely dangerous!! It can give you finger cancer and eventually they fall off without any cure!

Avoid them at all cost! I wish someone had told me that before I invested hundreds of thousands in leaded poker chips…

Now they don’t even call me Ben anymore, I’m just “nubbs”

Save yourself and buy Tina chips!

Thanks for the replies everyone! I wasn't too concerned, but thought I'd check. I don't think I'll be milling anything I buy anytime soon, but I have a buddy who likes doing projects like that and wanted to check before I bought something.
